Oasis (“ὄασις”) is a greek word meaning “dwelling place”, or a water supply and life in a dry or deserted area. Our hope at Oasis is for the students to show that Christ is our “dwelling place” or “life” in the midst of our deserted world by bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to anyone they encounter.
Colossians 2:6-7 - “So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in him, being rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude.” (CSB)
Here at Oasis, we want our students to be rooted in Jesus Christ, to grow in Him, and to be overflowing with gratitude when making disciples of all nations.
